Let
me say first of all that your faith in God is becoming known throughout the world. How I thank God through Jesus Christ for
each one of you. God knows how often
I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God. Whom I
serve with all my heart by telling others the Good News about His Son.
No
matter where you are on the map, God hears our prayers, I think the sole reason most people fall away from Christ is our forgetting
the importance of Prayer. I know
I have been there forgetting how important it is to call God into our day. And when you
have a request keep praying for that request. Keep the family of God in your prayers.
I have learned that prayer does
not have to be something done in a specific way or time and place. I found myself talking to God walking in the park or in
the duration of a task, these are the prayers God Loves when we open our heart to Him. Although it is equally important for
you when you awake ask Jesus to be with you throughout this day, because in not doing so we may get attacked by spirits that
have nothing to do with God. Remember there are battle 24/7 happening all around us their fight is for much more than your
day, but if they can operate in your day, maybe they can entice us into their world of which costs are far greater than all
of us would care to pay.
Lord God it is in your strength we are made free, through You Sons sacrifice, blameless for
our sin Father we thank you, Please be in our day that we might see the world through the scope of your eyes, that we might
through our lives bring a soul to you Father. Keep my mouth, my thoughts and my heart desiring you wisdom……
The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed
this prayer [ Some manuscripts read stood and prayed this prayer to himself.] : ‘I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat,
I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector!
–Luke 18:1
"Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
"The
Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not
like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.' “But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling
to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful
to me, the sinner!' "I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for
everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."
--Luke 18:10-14

[ Teaching about Prayer ] Once Jesus was in a certain
place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught
his disciples.” --Luke 11:1
