Special Gift

Something Great happen to me, Most of you know that I have a disc disease, nerve disorder, and all the illnesses that come form being sick for so long. I writer wrote that his father had the disease I have and he knew exactly what I experience everyday. Inasmuch as a robbery brought the illness and disease into my life, the patterns that happen following changed my life far greater than the robbery itself. Because I met some people at the Redemptorist Church in Kansas city. They offered to help me, and I said if you are going to help me, I want to help the Church. The director at the time said, you are one of a kind many do not think as you. But I was the one that was thankful even to this day, These people taught me the real meaning of being a child of the King of Kings. I had never met people so dedicated to making the lives of people in the community better. Between all the programs Redemptorist provide for the homeless, senior citizens’, Aids patients and parishioners, fascinated me to point I became a part of the team unlike I thought was physically possible. I was in a Back brace from the scull to the mid past the lumbar spine. They taught be what giving is all about. You see it is just what St. Francis Prayed, praying the prayer is one thing, Living the prayer is a whole other glass of water. God however yearns for us to be His example to the world. Gandhi said you can do that right where you are. The level of commitment is what you have to discern, some cannot afford to send money or food for those less fortunate, but time your presence is as valuable, even more so valuable, in my opinion or maybe unused clothing. Search your heart and talk to God about it, for it is in giving we will receive……  Falcon Better Tomorrows
